Summertime Sanctuary, A Fox Lake Documentary
For nearly 100 years, Fox Lake has been a place of resilience, community, joy, and belonging. Its story is an important part of American history, yet stories like this have too often been overlooked or forgotten. Through storytelling, education, and preservation, Summertime Sanctuary seeks to honor Fox Lake’s enduring legacy, celebrate the generations who have helped it thrive into the 21st century, and bring greater awareness to the rich history of Black resorts across the country.
A Legacy through Leadership Scholarship
The Fox Lake Preservation Foundation Scholarship Fund supports students within our community as they pursue higher education. Your donation helps invest in their future by easing the financial burden of college and vocational programs. Every contribution, large or small, directly empowers the next generation and strengthens the legacy of Fox Lake.
Donate to Improve our Infrastructure
Help us protect the places that tell the story of Fox Lake. Gifts to the Infrastructure Fund support the preservation, restoration, and improvement of the physical spaces and resources that connect us to Fox Lake’s rich African American history and help carry that legacy forward.
Donate to Make a Difference
